The worldwide export of coffee fell by 2.6% in March, compared to the same month of 2014 were shipped 9.983 million bags of 60 kg compared to 10,250 million bags in March 2014. Information is from the International Coffee Organization (ICO).
The world export in the first six months in coffee year 2014/15 (October 2014 to March 2015) fell by 3.3% compared to the same period last year, from 54.897 million to 53.084 million bags.
The ICO also reports that within six months of the 2014/15 crop, exports of Arabica beans fell 4.6% to 32.599 million bags. But the Robusta shipment decreased by 1.1% to 20.485 million bags.
