Rui Miguel Nabeiro, representing Delta Cafés, has been named President of of the Commercial and Industrial Association of Coffee (AICC) for the triennium 2013-2015.
The Commercial and Industrial Association of Coffee (AICC) is a non-profit association, whose main objective is to promote and disseminate the coffee and support an entire industry and business associated with it, in strict compliance with the rules of the Portuguese legal system.
This Association shall consist of the companies in Portugal, exert their activity in the industry roasting, grinding and packaging coffee blends and substitutes as well as the companies responsible for the market launch of coffee blends and substitutes soluble and machinery, equipment and accessories, from carrying out this activity as a principal.
AICC member since 2009, part of the Department since 2010 and a career, from early on the coffee industry, Rui Miguel Nabeiro holds a pretty solid knowledge about the sector and the Portuguese market.
Beyond the path connected to the coffee sector, the young entrepreneur received the prize in 2011 Person of the Year by the magazine in 2012 and Hipersuper saw your work be awarded the Master of the Figure of the Year Production, Distribution for Today. Internationally was one of the nominees in the category of The RSM International Entrepreneur of the Year Award in the European Business Awards 2010.
The election of the new Director and Governing Bodies took place during the last AICC General Assembly, held on March 14 and was maintained at the Directorate team before, just with the change of Chairman of the Board:
Presidency - NOVADELTA, SA (represented by Rui Miguel Nabeiro) SOTOCAL, LDA. (Represented by José Maria Barbosa), Nutricafés, SA (represented by Ricardo Costa), NESTLÉ PORTUGAL, SA (represented by Vítor Manuel Martins) and NewCoffee (represented by Pedro Oliveira).
